Your Choice of Connection Type
Design only Immediates can be designed with a Ti Base cavity for your system, or directly to the Multi-Unit Abutment using a tapered screw solution (Tapered screw files can only be 3D printed).
Ti Base to MUA
Using a Ti base connection, cemented to the overlay prior to patient insert. Uses standard prosthetic screws, the Ti base offers even spread of forces and strength around the MUA connection.
OR
Direct to MUA
Using a tapered-screw solution, designed directly to the multi-unit. The tapered screw disperses forces to the conical screw channel, conventional prosthetic screws apply this directly to the screw seat.
The choice of Multi-Unit connection type is the responsibility of the clinician. Any related outcomes due to the design or production of design-only provisional are ultimately the responsible of the clinician ordering and producing the case.

What’s Included
Just In Time® Design Only provisionals include the necessary designs and tools needed to take a patient from Pre-Op to an Immediate, completely digitally.
Virtual Smile Design (VSD)
The VSD is a digital approval showcasing the proposed teeth setup prior to surgery. This design is to be approved prior to surgery day and will form the basis of the provisional restoration.
Provisional Prosthetic FIle
The provisional STL file for your case. Designed with Ti base cavities, or, direct to the MUA using tapered screw channels.

Components can be ordered during Pre-Op phase to have ready on surgery day.
Prosthetic Screws
All prosthetic screws needed for your case on your indicated Multi-Unit platform.

Surgical Scan Template (SST)
SST’s are used when the patient has no existing stable dentition. SST files are included in Design Only fees.
3D printed SST’s from Osteon incur addition feee.
Please note: Osteon Medical will not be responsible for any 3rd Party manufactured Osteon’s “design-only” provisionals. It is the responsibility of the respective 3rd Party for accurate production and provision of all necessary safety instructions to the end user (i.e. patient).

¹Same Day turnaround JIT immediate provisional design must be ordered with prior-completed Pre-Op and all scan files by local region cutoff times. Cases with missing information will be delayed until all data is present. Cases submitted after this time will be processed next day.
²All Nexus iOS Immediates must have a completed Pre-Op order and approved Virtual Smile Design (VSD) before surgery day. Please speak with one of our specialists to provide further guidance for your case.
