General Questions

+ What is the Nexus iOS system?

The Nexus iOS system is built for dental professionals who perform full-arch implant surgery, and, or restorations. Nexus iOS is a digital workflow without the need for physical impressions.

Implant impression data is captured with Nexus iOS Scan Gauges and a avlidated Intraoral Scanner (IOS), it is then uploaded to the Nexus portal when ordering your chosen prosthesis.

The Nexus family of final patient indications cater for all needs and are all 100% patient-matched. Manufactured by Osteon Medical.

+ How does it work?

Nexus iOS Scan Gauges work in a similar way to conventional Scan Bodies, seated to Multi-Unit Abutments.

Full-arch IOS scans with Nexus Scan Gauges provide precision references for Osteon to create an accurate passive-fitting prosthesis.

This system works in with a proprietary workflow and requires an advanced level of sophistication to ensure repeated accuracy and exact fit.

Nexus iOS ensures this by facilitating the entire process from scanning right through to full production and finishing. This maximises quality control and minimises room for error.

+ Can I use Nexus iOS in my clinic?

Yes, even if this is your first step into digital full-arch rehabilitation. Nexus iOS is compatible with most intraoral scanning systems, including:

  • 3Shape TRIOS 3,4,5
  • MEDIT i700
  • Primescan
  • iTero Element 5D

+ Can I use the Nexus Scan Gauges with my lab?

Due to the complexity of full-arch rehabilitation, the design and milling process is completed by the Osteon Medical team to ensure consistent results. Turnaround times are comparable to local labs in most worldwide locations.
